During the summer of 1986, a musical legend was born. A rotating collection of barly legal drinkers joined front man Barry at the Cafe Bristol in Sunset Beach, California for a summer-long session of musical debauchery.

Best known for their rendition of 'Gloria', the Bristolettes would generally shout along with any tune Barry was playing as long as the beer was flowing. But even among their fans, they were considered a 'one hit wonder'.

But the group's excesses led to their ultimate inevitable demise. Prone to sudden and unexpected violent outbursts, band members left a path of broken windows, melted ice cream shops, and uprooted shrubbery. The act began to wear thin, and by summer's end the Bristolette sensation had come to an end.

The band scattered to points across the Western Hemisphere, their careers far from the music that won them fame. But in the hearts of their loyal fans everywhere (both of them), Barry & The Bristolettes play on.
