Judith, the most talkative lady in the Bible.
Rev. Lindsay Hardin Freeman, armed with highlighters, sticky notes, and help from several women in her Episcopal church, has crunched the numbers, and the results are in: Women speak 14,056 words in the whole Bible (specifically, the New Revised Standard Version), or about 1.1% of the text. There are 93 women in the Bible total, and 49 of them even have names.
Judith is the most verbose Biblical woman: she speaks 2,689 words in the process of killing Assyrian general Holofernes.
