The picture you have of Michael sure looks a heckofalot like an unidentified youth (about ten years younger in the picture) that is in a family picture of ours. My original Irish immigrant great, great grandfather is pictured there with his wife (a Murphy) along with his son’s William, Patrick, and several unidentified siblings (men and women). William was my grandfathers name as he was the eldest son of the family named after his dad. My dad was the youngest of 11 and born in 1915. His father William was a drifter/ranch hand that married a farmers daughter from Crystal Creek, Michigan. She was born in 1876 and he was a bit older than her. I named my youngest son James Patrick after my father and his favorite uncle Pat. He was supposed to be a large man. Had to duck down and come in sideways in a door.
