Destroy the County to Defend It

Last Friday the New York Times broke the story that the Bush Administration has been eavesdropping on Americans without a warrant since shortly after 9/11/2001.

The Times had delayed reporting the story for a year, at the request of the Administration which claimed that disclosure of the news would be harmful to national security. More likely, such disclosure would have been harmful to President Bush’s re-election prospects. In early December of 2005, Bush summoned the editor and published of the Times to the Oval Office, to again attempt to halt the story

Has Bush’s arrogance and disregard for the Constitution finally gone too far? Calls for an immediate investigation of Bush’s warrant-less wiretapping are coming from Democrats and Republicans alike in Congress.

9/11 was a tragic day. But to George Bush and Dick Cheney, it was their golden ticket to justify any action, defend any failure, and disregard any law. The horrible losses of that day have been amplified to incalculable levels in further loss of life and the tearing down of America by these men who claim to be defending it.

First off, lets get something strait. Could you just imagine if Al Gore would have been elected as president? This country would have suffered losses in such levels that you couldnt imagine. It seems to me that ever since President Bush has been in office, most of your so called "movie stars",Tree huggers, Save a whale,(liberals) have done nothing but downgrade our president of the united states. Not to mention that President Bush has faced more tragedy in eight years than any other President in history!! I mean, what are you thinking? Im sure our lovely ex-president Clinton would have done such a great job with our country in times of need. He really made some great calls for our military.(ha) Clinton and Gore are two peas in a pod. If it were left up to them, we wouldnt have a military. They remind me of the nerds back at high school,Always did their homework, always minded their mommy, and always got their ass beat bye all the ragheads, excuse me, bullies. So you ask what my point is? Let me tell you! GET OFF THE PRESIDENT ALREADY!!!! He is OUR president of the United States you bunch of dumbasses. Support him as our Commander and Cheif, and help him. In doing so, you will be doing a great justice for the whole country. And always remember the famous last words of a true Red, White, and Blue American LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (damn liberals).

Hi Mike,

Thanks for visiting. Yes, let’s get some things straight…

- Al Gore WAS elected President. The Supreme Court was not happy with that outcome, so they intervened and made their own pick. Here began Bush’s dismantling of our Constitution.

- Had Al Gore or ANYONE else been President, I’m sure they’d have done the same thing Bush did immediately after 9/11, by invading Afghanistan to pursue THOSE RESPONSIBLE.

- We’ll never know, but I’m confident they would not have done what Bush then did, which was to selectively use faulty intelligence to invade a country that had NOTHING to do with the 9/11 attack on the U.S.

You may offer George Bush all of the blind loyalty you want. Sure, he’s the President, and the Commander in Chief. But he thinks he is above the law, all-powerful, and doesn’t see any need to uphold and operate under the Constitution of the United States. And on that, he’s wrong. I do love America, and for that reason I won’t watch quietly while George Bush or anyone else does such harm to it as he has.

Tell you what, I’ll stay in America, and you follow George Bush to some other country where blind loyalty to a abusive dictator is the norm, ok?
