I am a recently self-employed political consultant who specializes in helping my clients utilize the Internet. Last year my business partner, Jeremy Dorin, and I founded CaseyDorin Internet Productions to develop Internet campaigns for our first two clients, Senate candidates Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton.
Previously I was employed in the United States Senate, by the Democratic Technology and Communications Committee, part of the Democratic Leadership Committees. My job is to help Senate Democrats get online.
Previously I was employed in the Office of Senator Edward Kennedy where I kept busy with my efforts to help the Senator reach out to and communicate with his constituents electronically, advise him on technology related issues, and keep a network of Mac's up and running. Kennedy's office first went online in 1993, and in the spring of '94 he became the first member of Congress with a home page on the Web. As a volunteer with Kennedy for Senate in 1994, I helped bring one of the first Congressional campaigns to the Web, and Kennedy back to the Senate.
With the help of my friend Jeff Hecker, I created CapWeb a hypertext guide to Congress and Legislative branch resources on the Internet. Please pay it a visit, and don't forget to sign the guestbook!
